AFRICAN HUNTS AND ADVENTURES HUNTING SAFARIS are situated in the north western part of Zimbabwe. Hunting safaris are conducted by fully licensed & experienced professional hunters within 30 000 hectares of prime range land which is on the periphery of the world famous Hwange National Park & also adjoins the famous Ngamo-Sikumi Forests.
The hunting area includes the wildlife rich Sikumi Vlei which stretches for approximately 6 kilometers on the property, and is abound with big elephant bulls, buffalo, leopard and lion, as well as a large variety of plains game, particularly sable, eland, zebra and small nocturnal animals. We also offer leopard hunting with hounds and bird shooting safaris.
The area consists of generally flat woodland and grassy plains and is serviced by a permanent camp that has six thatched chalets with en suite bathrooms and toilets. In addition, we also offer game drives, walking safaris and wilderness trails into neighboring Hwange National Park.
Our hunting season runs from April to November. It is advisable to bring sweaters and warm wind proof jackets as well as cool light weight hunting clothes as nights and early morning can be cold. Comfortable footwear, broad-brimmed hats, sunglasses et cetera are essential.
NOTE : No camouflage pattern clothing is allowed.
